A female figure strives to control and understand the outer world. Her contact with the infinite through Nature makers her body unstable – she struggles in her loneliness to define her own shape and to fuse with the space surrounding her.

Kika! i love this! very inspirational - for me it is the primordial - the ancient savage energy trapped in the forest and inside woman - is there a follow up?i love the dark

Dark. Beautiful. Hypnotic. I had turned off the sound on my speakers earlier - so when I watched the video the first time it was without sound and your imagery is rhythmically effective in the silence. After turning the sound back on - I watched it again. The sound score is quite good and manipulative in a positive way, and yet watching it the first time in 'silence' was an engaging and satisfying experience.

Technically stunning and visually seductive but all a bit moody for me. I think the earlier comparison to Bergman justified but this was much less witty. I suppose whether it works depends on whether or not you buy into the central metaphor - and I didn't. There is so much that is good in this video that I feel perverse saying that I didn't like it - but I didn't. Like watching Swan Lake I grew bored thinking "just has this to do with me?" Maybe I have the soul of a peasant - but a well made made video that failed to connect. Sorry but it left me cold. Intelligent choice of music.

Kika your works brings out sensitivity in a unique manner, especially your editing style is good, dark images yet they are beautiful!

The feeling, the music, the editing the lightning, the mediating of the spirit and of course the photo is all great.

The dramatic lighting in the first scenes in the woods are reminiscent of Bergman's The Seventh Seal. Taking the figure out of the woodsy environment into blackness emphasizes her loneliness and despair. A sense of melancholy and searching comes through the blue tones, the slow motion, and the repetitive piano. At midpoint, the bright, sharp light illuminates her expression of fear. The restrained color of the sunrise appears to be a symbol of the moment she accepts her oneness with nature - literally, it is dawning upon her. Instead of rapture, she dissolves into the darkness, into the water. I am disturbingly distraught because I am so fascinated, so enchanted.
