A film interpretation of a poem of the same name read by the Governor General Award honoured Canadian poet Joe Rosenblatt. Experimental in form and evocative of the original poetic devices under the moon's lunar influence. Constructed from found film footage, black and white and gray images combine to reflect upon sensuality, desire and the quest for vision amidst the debris of modern inventions and technolofy, the risks of annihilation through bureaucracy led by faulty leadership. A film of haunting, lunatic visions, poetic turns and a rough dream-like reminiscences set in a prosperous purgatory on the landscape of the moon.
