The image content is accompanied by a powerful animal sound synchronised to its tempo and movement. Both image and sound are intentionally abnormal and abstract. The environment of the installation enhances the effect of imprisonment as the image fades in and out of visibility. The edges of the projected film frame act as the enclosure, forcing a retreat or a repeat of action. This sense reflects the original subject matter and location occupied by the the leopard. The film reflects a never-ending nightmare and a repetition of action and existence in an alien world.
