This video documents, in part, a performance made for the Household Festival of Contemporary Art, Belfast, Northern Ireland, August, 2012.
A small, domestic, ante room was used as a set; with the construction of a makeshift cave, simple stage lighting and audio.
The audience were in very close proximity to the performer.
There was a maximum number of eight viewers that could be accommodated for each performance.
Fourteen performances were made over the course of one evening.
Each performance lasted seven minutes.
I recorded my voice, adopting accents, altering the pitch and timbre, for each character.
Each character was recorded in one take.
This video piece develops the language of the performance documentation, by working with multiple viewpoints and the suggested association of character to recorded voice.
Performer: Alessandra Giacinti
