Creative Global Network for the Visual Arts

With the 2012 Fall exhibition season exploding, James Kalm makes a feeble attempt to bring viewers an overview of the happenings in the burgeoning Lower East Side art scene. Starting at the south end of the neighborhood we pop in for gallery openings that include: Pocket Utopia with Matthew Miller, Allegra LaViola Gallery with Sandi Slone. On Orchard Street: McKenzie Fine Art with Line and Plane, Scaramouche with "li amori difficili", BOSI Contemporary with "Aggro Crag", and wrap-up with Lesley Heller showing Drew Schliflet and "Shift", a group show curated by Tom Kotik. A musical introduction is provided by Shane Patrick, Shan's new Album "Go Places" is available at www.shanepatrick.net
