About my artwork
Lorene Taurerewa spends her time in both New York and New Zealand. She recently completed a residency at the National Art Studio of the Korean National Museum of Contemporary Art. Lorene has recently exhibited in New York at Gallery Korea and Ann Street gallery, Hong Kong at Amelia Johnson Gallery, Paris and Los Angeles at the New Zealand Embassy and will be exhibiting at the Queensland Art Gallery, Brisbane Australia and the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, Australia in 2010. She is part of private and public collections world-wide, with recent acquisitions including the Queensland Art Gallery, Australia, and the James Wallace Arts Trust in New Zealand. Lorene was recently awarded a Creative New Zealand Arts Council Grant and is featured in the newly published Seen This Century, by art critic Warwick Brown.
