These softly lit images were captured using a pinhole camera. The photographs offer the viewer an intimate glimpse of the tools used for mending clothing. This series addresses domesticity, meticulous work, and the act of preservation.

I first started to make objects, as independent peices that somehow were related to drawing. eventually i realised that the boundaries were not that clear and i became more and more interested in using other materials as sources for drawing experience. presently i think that each process feeds the other, and ideas that can be static in one media, can become really dynamic when your attitude towards what you use is slightly changed.

i'm fascinated by these images and how they transform/reinterpret the installation - potentially becoming their own works rather than serving as representations of objects or events. is this how you see it?
