RL Arthur, I like the drawings, but they're busy, a little like Rodin's "Gates of Hell." Looking at any drawing I see a bunch of drawings. Maybe if you took them apart and developed the piece individually, they would have even more impact.
Hi there -- thanks for adding me as a friend.
On the subject of collage, you could try to get hold of a brilliant book called 'On Not Being Able To Paint' by Marrion Milner. (Ive just ordered it from the US vai Amazon) having not read it for 20 years. Its truly brilliant and covers aspects of just getting on with it that I sometimes manage to remember even now. Am so looking forward to getting my hands on the new copy.
Bye for now,
At the Italian Cultural Institute it was very nice. The Director presented the works and also the artists have the opportunity to explain their art works proposed in the Arte Laguna Prize. The exhibition space is polyfunctional so it's planned to host also reading, films etc, therefore it will be very visited as exhibition. The Institute is in the city center and it is an ancient palace. Thery organize a lot of activities, collaborating with european institutions and moreover they have more than 900 students for learnig italian so the venue is very popular.
As soon as possible we will publish the photos of the event.
