Hi Taylor - thanks for the invite to the Chicago group. I have been offline for quite a while - but back on now that summer is drawing to a close.

Glad you like it and thanks for your comments but that "dark mysterious blob" is my lost rowing boat!

Thanks a lot Taylor. I am BRAND new to this site and will be doing more out of it but I am an active sort of man and don't spend the day in front of the PC nor the TV. My sister had a fling with Sean and he was gracious enough to send me a postcard that I had unfortunately lost. The year was 1974 when he filmed RANSOM, here in Norway. My Fther took photos of them and my sister took photos of my father and Sean but I only have the latter. When she got married, the pix of her and her 007 mysteriously vanished......(Not that her husband would have cared about the past)
Since I cannot attach anything here, you wouldhave to write me at my own mail address: SashaGabor@gmail.com for me to send something.
Wish you well in the Windy City.
Sincerely,
Sasha Gabor in Oslo, Norway

Wish you continued happiness and whatever you desire in your life.
From the cold and right now quite dreary Norway with rainy, foggy weather,
Your ex Californian and Floridian Hungarian friend,

I'm leaving town, be back the 25 april, to follow the ancient trail of the human race, starting somewhere in Africa and moving along to other continents--you can write to me- but i will not alway be able to answer. My fellow monks help me sometimes with the satellite connections, but the technollogy is unstable. Thanks! and keep on rocking in the free world!

HI TAYLOR, THANKS FOR CONTACTING ME. GREAT THAT YOU ARE DOING THIS.
I GRADUATED FROM THE ART INSTITUTE IN 1976 AND MOVED TO NYC WHERE I HAVE BEEN LIVING EVER SINCE. SO I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BE PART OF A CHICAGO GROUP. GOOD LUCK

hey Taylor, thank you for the comment :) i enjoy your work. i don't see so much the resemblance to my chest pieces. funny enough, your bird tornado does remind me of another installation of mine that is not posted anywhere. i'll have to send you the link when i post photos of it.

Hi, Taylor. I'm not sure which images impressed you -- but glad they did :) Thanks for the compliment. The images on the walls basically are graphite (pencil). The sequence with hands combines of digital photo and digital painting.

Tea or beer sounds great.

-Dee

ps. if you are really giving away some of the extra little birds, I would not mind a couple of them :)

Thanks for the pic comment. I have shown video work in the US on different occasions, but not in the Chicago area I'm afraid. Showing installations abroad is a bit more challenging to go through with, but hopefully I'll do that some day as well.

really like your sculptures, specially the Diary of a dead woman
