"omphalos" is the title of my latest work, commissioned by Lazenki Museum in Warsaw Poland. The work is made of white Pendelikon marble, dimensions 60X60X80cm and is permanently situated in Lazenki Park. Carved on the stone are the 147 Delphic maxims, in Greek language, using the Attic alphabet. Inauguration of the work, took place on May 2013. Photo of the work is courtesy of the Polish photographer Czeslaw Czeplinski

Following this work, on the 26th of July 2013, I presented a paper on the 19th Jubilee International Congress of Aesthetics, 21 - 27 July 2013, Krakow, Poland. Title of this paper was "Redesigning / Readdressing history in terms of institutional conceptualism. The Delphic 'omphalos' at Lazenki Museum, Warsaw, Poland". The paper describes the artistic process of the actual making of the new omphalos for Lazenki Museum, as well as the historical approach and research for this work and the questions posed by such endeavors. The paper is accompanied by a power point presentation, explaining in detail the conceptual interpretation of the original omphalos and the artistic decisions related to the creation of the new art piece for Lazenki Museum
