Being an Art Leader Among Artists

Stepping up to the plate has given me a voice and direction in my Art. Finding an Art Community in my home town has been and adventure and also a challenge. I've made a point to reach out to them and they have welcomed me in and now I am Creating Exhibits for all of us. A Group of Voices can be heard Louder than one voice among hundreds, thousands, millions. I've created Them Exhibits and for the first time for many of them, they were exposed to the pressure of really digging deep. Some rose to… Continue

"Artists an International Network"- To press in September!!

When I first opened Poetry On Canvas an Art Gallery /Art Studio in Pleasanton, I was following a dream and beginning a point in my life where I was going to grow as an Individual and as an Artist. This happened in 2007 and now in 2009 I have met those dreams and surpassed them all because of Networking with other Artists with like desires and a Passion to… Continue

Marketing and Managing your ArtWork OnSite

I'm Claudette McDermott an Artist and previous Fine Art Gallery owner called Poetry On Canvas in Pleasanton, California. As an active artist who enjoys painting and showing my work, I also want my work out there to sell. All artists know how expensive it is to keep following your passion for painting or whatever your choice of medium may be. You pretty much are forced to sell if you want to keep up with new works unless of course you have an endless supply of $$ or elect to paint over the… Continue

2009 Market Plan

2009 Marketing Plan
