Heya, I have set up a website for my Photography Project, its called 52 weeks! I have an artist page for artists to get involved and have their work up! Was wondering if you would like to put a photo up? https://fiftytwoweek.wordpress.com this is the website, if you'd like to put a pic up, email me the pic to firstname.lastname@example.org with contacts like website links and any info you want with the photo and ill upload it :)
My art is not on exhibit in NYC but I'm represented by the Driftwood Gallery at 44 No. Division St, Peekskill in Westchester Co. They are usually open Wed-Sat from 12-5 but I would call first before going, 914-245-4254.
I'd like to find the right gallery in NYC but most galleries there seem tio want modern art and I do realism, pretty much in the Hudson River School manner. If you know any galleries in NYC where my work would fit in I would like to know about it.
I show art at my studio too and in mid-August I participate in a 40-studio local studio tour and sale. That is fun, and makes a great summer weekend in the northern Catskills.
I am self taught in my style, though I studied with Hong-Nian Zhang at the Woodstock School of Art. He's a great impressionist-realist painter but definitely not influenced by the Hudson River School.
I sometimes give private lessons or teach a small workshop when a few people want to study with me at the same time.
