If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Digital, Drawing, Painting
...an artist in spirit, and I create as much as possible when I am not at my day job. I enjoy learning new things, listening to new music, and sharing my observations with others.
About my artwork
My paintings and drawings have evolved from traditional realism to something more free and full of expression. I have learned to allow my child-like creativity to emerge, and now I have a complete series that shows the nature of this freedom of expression. Scribbles--sketches are not only expressive, but they are also reusing resources that others have carelessly tossed in the trash. I attempt to reuse as many materials as possible and still produce archival quality artwork.
Artists I like
Helen Frankenthaller, Andy Warhol, Alberto Giacometti, Gerhard Richter, Tiffany Holmes, Jackson Pollock, Gia Edzgveradze, SCRAP Danny Mansmith, Henry Darger, Tracey Emin, Merlin Carpenter, Simon Doonan, Franz West
I am inspired by my DAD, ALL my family, long walks, bike rides, NATURE, people of all sorts, MUSIC, independent and foreign films, ART journals, DIY, paper, others' TRASH, snapsots, sketching, gardening, exploring NEW & old places, fashion
