If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Digital, Drawing, Installation, Photography
Originally a painter. Became interested in the emerging wearable art movement started in the east village, NYC in the early 70's.
Invited to become part of Julie:Artisan's Gallery in 1977. A major hub for the entertainment industry and social elites. Clients included Elton John, Cher, Bianca Jagger and Andy Warhol.
After the early 80's and becoming a m other I turned to ceramics as an artist venue. My work in ceramics is very influenced by my fiber work in the 70's.
I have been very influenced by the computer, digital photos, graffiti, and all of the possibilities that they have given my work.
Artists I like
Marlene Dumas, Bill Viola, James Rosenquist, Helen Frankenthaler, Jim Dine, Eric Fischel, Julian Schnable, Andy Warhol, Phillip Pearlstein, Walter Nottingham, Norma Minkowitz, Takashi Muakami,
Lucas Samaras, etc
