LMC quitted art school on his 1st year (industrial design @ Ecole Superieur des Arts Visuels La Cambre; in Brussels 1988). Back to Portugal became assistant for Pedro Portugal, João Paulo Feliciano, Pedro Proença, Fernando Brito & Manuel Vieira. Lived in New York for a while to get a taste of the real stuff. Flew to Madrid (ARCO 1990) & back to Lisbon got mentioned as the "super assistant" working for Leonel Moura, Julião Sarmento, Galeria Graça Fonseca & João Vieira. During the Gulf War, times got tuff, & the opportunity opened to the advertising industry (exhibition systems & urban furniture). After running around here & there, he settle down in Central Europe, founding "The Central", where works as Executive Creative Director, as well, uses this splendorous 260sq/mt loft located in central Brussels as its atelier to produce his artworks.
