About my artwork
At the present moment in my career, I am using very coherent and strong forms within my expressionistic style. Painstakingly crafted canvases and papers are given resonance by the strength emanating from the sharp contrast of color and the singular modeling of the faces of unknown people, as well as the anonymous bodies falling into the abyss.
I am also searching for coarse emotional nerve through my imagery of the body taken to the limit, to the very frontier of death by society’s transgressions.
Artists I like
Francis Bacon, Mimmo Palladino, Baselitz, Marlene Dumas, Kuitka (1986), Ensor, among others.
I would like to show my work out of Miami, and exchange exhibition with other artists in United States.
What exhibitions are good at the moment?
Marina Anaya in galería kalon of Tudela.
Kuitka in Miami Art Museum
Ensor in MOMA, New York.
