I am...
working in a broad field of the arts but mainly educated through performance art, acting and dance. Started out at the electronical musicscene before it actually existed, doing sounddesign and music for performances and other purposes. The many years performing with the philosophical and art interested troupe Von Heiduck Performance Theatre touring the most of Europe taught me many aspects of the arts. Studied some Mediascience and then started constructing and performing with hypernaturalistic life-sized neo-puppetry animationfigures in my own aspects of ritualistic orientated performances not at least in Southeast-Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Japan). Constructed the huge exhibition of senses for kids in Denmark at Exhibition hall Brandts and Nikolaj including sculpture with sound, lights and greater aspects of the use of new materials, which lead into new constructionmethods for neo-puppetry use. These days I'm performing to a great deal as an actor and performer, but new sculptural acts are on their ways as well as new articles on the use and understanding of ritual and religion in a modern aesthetic intepretation...
Artists I like
Marlene Dumas, Matthew Barney, Franz Thomsen, Peter Kyed (Music), Cahtrine Raben Davidsen, Jørgen Hauge Sørensen, Axel Salto, Palle Nielsen, Coil (Music), Xlebnikhov (author), Kasper Nørgaard Thomsen (author), ERwin Neutsky-Wulff (Author), Hoichi Okamoto (Dondoro) (Puppety), Nonnos (author), Arthur Machen (author)...
Things and aspects which do not yet existst... I see it as a start point for every project and piece of art that you may start up, avoiding the copyfucking tendencies of apes - and then as always Eros and that great god Pan - Dionysos.

I did print two of the pictures and put them on my wall, were they fits very well, the other themes represented there. Already hanging there is your drawing of a women laying stretched in a balletskirt (thex scanning could be better though, but I know you did not make this one for scanning, well i like a lot. I like also the colours especially the little girl with redskirt and the one where she is sitting on the floor and the face is falling into the picture.... Thanx -Best wishes

Dear Ainhoa

- did not read your comment for a long time, but did just reread, because I wanted for a long time to answer after my questions to you. And guess what, the clown theme is in here as well,. Of course I did the mean demagoic clown some years ago, but now - even now, we want to do more clowns, and my latest reflexions on the theme was: Society is were the clowns are, everybody out there is a clown, because we are not allowed to be anything else but clowns out there. The individual has to be a clown in a society as ours, with all that concensus floating and flying around controlling every thougt and movement. Keeping eyes on the perverse, the criminal, the law breaker, the strange.... Well I think you already got my point there. The clown (not the cirkus clown) can be seen as the man going mad, that is our next dramtic project, the mad man has to be a real clown in society... Yes, - to much laughing is crying!

Did you by any chance upload the clown project with other people? It is a very good project. Leaves me with further ideas - to let the public or audiences dress as clowns in certain scene of a performance. I'm working with a "clown" this autum in a wild crazy duo where we involve the audiences... Let me see this incredible fascinating work ogf yours. When you know you are already a clown, how would you react to the question of beeing confronted with that you should dress like a clown... (it is great and confrontative!!!).

Dear Svend,

I think your puppets are absolutely amazing :) I just love them! and the concepts of course. At the moment I am focusing on pure drawing, and I am producing works of a 'circus' theme, mainly clowns, performers and even at times puppets. I think this subject, although it is very appealing to the man on the street, I think it also challenges the mind of the intellectual, who sees more than just what appears to the eye. The circus can be seen as the stage of life, and clowns can be seen as society. The beauty of it, is that there is always an underlying meaning to my works, and I wish for people to look deeper into a work, rather than just admiring its aesthetic beauty, and moving onto something else. I wish for the viewer, to stop, look and think, perhaps question things, or realise things aren't as they seem. This is why I have become obsessed with the idea of the sad clown, because not all that looks happy on the outside is happy on the inside.

I have also been doing photography, and I have done a video installation where I have asked certain models which I find particularly interesting, as actors or people. And I have told them to dress up as clowns. Not telling them what to wear, or how to act. I let them choose. And I try leave them as free as possible to see how they will react to the subject. Its incredibly fascinating. Because you see people's reactions, when I asked people if they would model for me, they all said yes. And then when I said, ok, so you'll have to be dressed up as a clown, they either laughed, or where eager to do it, or refused, or said they hated clowns or where scared of them. lol. so it seems to bring out an automatic reaction, a more truthful side of the person, whether they were shy or more outwardly, funny or conscious of their appearance.

anyways, I dont know if I answered your question. I wish to do a performance for my exhibition but I am not really keeping up with the million things I wanna do. Anyways, I ll see what comes out of it in the end. Anyway thanks for being interested in my works :)
