I am...
an interdisciplinary and performance artist, a member of the ICON photography group, supporter of Slack Space. A single parent. Disabled. A submissive.
About my artwork
My current concept/work is about the universal issues of consensual submission and subjugation surrounding women. I use my own and the researched experiences of women: women share common bonds and experiences no matter what the colour, culture or creed.

I also work with notions of identity and my own disability.

I use whatever media feels right to produce and convey the message I need to.
Artists I like
Abdul Hakim Onitolo, Matthew Lee Knowles, Stuart Russell, Nancy Spero, Frida Kahlo, Clinton Fien, Hans Bellmer, Shirin Neshat, Pre-Raphelite Brotherhood, Da Vinci, Klimt, Willie Doherty, Viviane Cathmoir, Tracy Emin, Surrealists, Turner, Chris Ofili, Da Vinci, Loiuse Bourgois.......... so many known and unknown

People do find things they don't find 'comfortable' unsettling, but that's all part of art.  Controversy is the backbone of modern art, and there will always be artists who unsettle, and people who will be unsettled.   As you've already done, you can only embrace it!

Thanks for your comment re the babies.  I've had much the same comments - disturbing generally.  Which one would expect!
