If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Painting, Photography, Sculpture
I am...
I am the artist who believe in PRIMEVAL SENSE OF ART -unalterable since Lascaux times or even much longer. This sense is older then any civilization because the art is older as well.
About my artwork
On intellectual level one of the most crucial sources of my creativity is a conviction about never-ending tradition shared with all artists since Lascaux-times to our days. I am convinced that the most important in creativity is a dialog with an audience. I try to maintain it not only by providing artistic impulses or other "immaterial nutrition" for this dialog but also by leaving the space in my art for a viewer to fill it with his/hers contemplations, feelings, imagination associations, etc. Exactly for this purpose I developed my own graphic system and I have adopted this technique on canvas. I have recognised this system (being a hybrid of either graphic and painting techniques) as the perfect environment for never-ending struggles between a randomness and a method. I perceive this so important because I believe that energy emerging from these straggles makes a dialog with viewers vivid. MOGT- how I use to call my system is for me a way to find a balanced unity between a drawing, a graphic and a painting. Creating the MOGT I have aimed at finding a most creative crossing point of drawing, graphic and painting. The developing process is never accomplished. Each one piece demands a passionate fight for balance between three powers co-operating in the MOGT-system.
The second most important issue in this dialog is a presence of art in average life of regular people. Art pieces capable to impress a viewer strong enough in a white-box of some gallery are not displayable in majority of regular homes; additionally, concepts strong enough for a public venue often are too strong ("too noisy" in their expressiveness) for a private house.
I have found a formula of agreement between this contradictory features; the formula avoiding artistic compromises.
how it works?
The whole composition acts in a gallery but very few or even only one segment would be displayed in regular house as both of a separate/independent art piece and kind of a memory trigger recalling impressions previously happened in gallery space indicated by a complete composition.

The development of this concept absorbs all my artistic activity.
On intellectual level one of the most crucial sources of my creativity is a conviction about never-ending tradition shared with all artists since Lascaux-times to our days. A Drawing had commenced the art and then has played( within centuries) mostly a blue-print- like role in relations with a painting or a graphic, or has been used as an independent medium; yet my MOGT-system is for me a way to find a balanced unity between a drawing, a graphic and a painting. Creating the MOGT I have aimed at finding a most creative crossing point of drawing, graphic and painting. The developing process is never accomplished. Each one piece demands a passionate fight for balance between three powers co-operating in the MOGT-system. Especially my MOGT pieces on paper emerging as a drawing response- sort of physical polemic with graphic elements intruded in to a structure of paper, should be recognised as an interesting incarnation of a drawing technique.

Simultaneously with the MOGT-developing I work also on a new dimension of this system trying to involve to it also some features of sculpture ( still on initials stage of progress).
