Written In Stone or Blowing In The wind

History is written in stone. The entire planets surface is covered with a testimonial of unrest and change of near uncomprehendable magnitude. The conveyable message of what has taken place over time brings a better perspective to how insignificant a mere hiccup in time such as a year is to our planet. Some would question if individuals and their ability to use logic and persuasion have any effect on our future or if evolution just marches us on according to some predetermined progression or… Continue

Managing the flock

Managing the flock

Some folk lack self-motivation, and have a need to be part of a herd.

But I am neither sheep nor Shepard. To me the concept’s quite absurd.

We each have a reason for being, It’s not really that hard to find.

There are those who don’t want you to see this. It is easier to lead those who are blind.

There is in you a gift to be offered. It need not be blind servitude.

You don’t need… Continue

Stuff Nobody Wants To Here.

Stuff nobody wants to here.

What way should one climb? What drives a person to wealth in financial terms? I’m not talking wealth in respect to meeting a persons needs and the pursuit of individual or family happiness, I am talking wealth in excess of ones needs. I supported a family of 6 and extras on under $20,000 a year but for the purpose of this writing; let me draw a line at a much higher amount, say $250, 000 a year. I am talking wealth at the expense of other’s labors, success… Continue

What's in a name?

The answer in the art world is everything. I sell but I am still an unknown. I am featured in magazenes, shown on cable news and yet nothing comes of it. Few appreciate that I work bare handed holding the metal in one hand and welding lead in another. There are no jigs. There is no art supply store for a recyclesculptor. The energy involved in aquiring raw material goes unrewarded. There are well known artists in my field of expertise that fetch outrageouse sums for their work and yet there is… Continue

Nice job on your sculptures! I'm happy you are selling as many artists have to be content just to create :) The ocean is a great palette to use for your expressions as everyone can appreciate the magic in it. Wishing you Much success, Claudette

Send a message to all your friends announcing the Blog. If you can still access your Friends page (some people have technical problems) do so. In the bottom left hand corner there is a small link called "Send a message to all your friends". Click on it and write a messsage. It couldn't be simpler but it took me months to find it. Let me know how it goes and if you have any problems.

It was nothing important. Just a general message to say...if you have a moment, take a look at my recent work and I hope you enjoy it.
I think everyone's messages have gone for a walk and may be some time! Heaven knows what's happening....

That's what is wrong with the art world today...too commercial, I think. I acquire pieces that I enjoy and have intrinsic aesthetic worth not for their future financial value

Thanks but until I pass or get discovered, his would be a better investment.

I agree with your views on the Hirst heist...and I think I'd rather own one of your pieces than his.

Thanks but he isn't for sale. There is a backlog on them ever since the biologist who reintroduced them to Maine bought one.
