Busy Is As Busy Does...

Well, I've not been here for some time because I've been BUSY! Yes. The latest on the Fringe Front is that we have launched a twitter feed @thetruepattern which you should follow if you're interested in what unfolds with that whole affair. I don't run it, I just supply some of the info to the tweet master. In addition, we have a myspace page which is serving as a…See More

Cross The Line And Get Blown Back...

This past weekend there was a big to do in Fringe fanland over the phrase, "cross the line".  It was one of the cute phrases that the people behind Fox TV's Fringe use to try to promote the show.  I used to be a fan of it myself, until I have increasingly begun to realize that the amount of elements in the show that are identical to things previously associated with me, now threatens the "who came first" threshold. The one that went too far was the topic of my last…See More

When Art Imitates Life...Too Much

As I mentioned in a previous blog,  that my first video art piece, Parallel Universes, that I was working on with my invention, the P.TVsynth(TM) began with the theme of parallel universes and I was just going to do some interesting things with footage of myself and my friends. Then I decided to make it a little more interesting and throw in some things with some famous…See More

PARALLEL UNIVERSES...ONLINE NOW!

Well, here we are... Parallel Universes. It answers so many questions and raises so many others.  I must admit that conceptually it is heavily inspired by Gene Youngblood's, Expanded Cinema. More on that later...Technical Note: I strongly advise that you put the video player on Pause and allow the video to fully load before you play it. Otherwise, the buffering stops will drive you crazy and totally ruin the intended viewing experience... …See More

Better Late Than...NEVER!

OK, OK, OK...Yes, I said that Parallel Universes would be out on Christmas morning, but DUE TO THE FACT that Santa Claus needed me to make last minute adjustments to the STDTS on his sleigh at the last minute when he arrived in North America, well it just didn't get done. That and the fact that this project has become more surreal and complicated than I even said in my last post, and you…See More

Of Synchronicities, Simultaneity and Fringe Television

I had begun work on my first, pure video art project in over ten years, when I made an interesting discovery. Well, actually several, perhaps. My video is titled, Parallel Universes, and was at first going to be about two minutes long and be a surrealistic vision of myself, along with two friends, visiting St. Louis in 1992. Emphasis on surrealistic. After all, this was going to be my first video art creation using my P.TVsynth(TM), a TV I have that creates special effects and abstract…See More

"Parallel Universes" Is On The Way, with DEMI sampling(TM)

I have been very busy, as of late, with business and technology related affairs. Being an R&D engineer requires that I not stray too far from those things that actually have the potential to pay off big. As a result I've been lax in regards to my work with my most recent invention, the P.TVsynth(TM), which is still in development. However, I have begun production on what will be the first video art piece created with it, Parallel Universes. My intention is to keep the end result as purely a…See More

I am...
a 21st renaissance man. The bio says it all - http://archive.informalscience.org/member/show/8498.
About my artwork
When I'm doing art, I work in photography, computer graphics, video stills or a synthesis of all three, when I'm not just doing video art with my P.TVsynth programable television synthesizer. Examples from the P.TVsynth - http://www.behance.net/gallery/PTV-synth/2404008. I am beginning to consider sound art because I have a background in music production and have invented hardware technologies and sampling techniques that are proprietary, as well as research into the technocogninetic relationship of sound, that will enable me to branch successfully into that field as well...

Nam June Paik, Jordan Belson, the Whitney Brothers, Stephen Beck, Laurence Gartel, Zbigniew Rybczyński, Damon Zex, Mac Worthington, Terry Rogers, Catherine White.
Interests
Temporal mechanics, general relativity, the coupling between electromagnetism and gravity (see Einstein distant parallelism) video art, advanced concept physics, the exploitation of the 8 dimensions of sight and sound into a new multimedia language, psychoactive entertainment technology, the practical application of the extreme implications of quantum mechanics, and getting a new solid body electric guitar.
What exhibitions are good at the moment?
Haven't a clue - too busy working.

Well, I warned you I was busy...

It's been February since I last posted anything here but I stated that busy is as busy does and I've been busy. Mostly in the science realm, as I am the ultimate expression of the synthesis of the two, which demands that I put time in both realms. For example, in February and March I did a test of the Oppenheimer Strain with a high school physics class and a small group of elementary school children. The test was to see if they could detect problems with Stephen…
