About my artwork
I work with both Visual Art and and Sound.
The category's displayed here on artreview is too limited but I've chosen Digital, Drawing and Photography at the moment.
"The Decorated Children" picture-book released September 30th - 2011
Originally I was a painter [from the Art Academy in CPH] Today it's Photo/Drawing/Digital Hybrids as well as 'clean' Photographic work I'm doing. Clean in the sense that they're what the camera 'took' without the extra manipulation or editing that I otherwise adore using [in my hybrids].
The Refrain series [work in progress] is an example of this 'clean' body of work. It's a jump into the emotions related to the past, the lived and lost parts of our lives - scenes from the memory bank, if you will.
I have another project with visual work at the moment, titled: The Decorated Children. I recently had an exhibit of the first set from this series, but more is underway.
This is a Photo/Drawing Hybrid visual story-telling. Preview - look below
My Dream Team series is yet another work that will be exposed here on my profile page soon..!
I'm part of the Exquisite Corpse Video Project, I believe it's the most active online group here on artreview, in the firm hands of Kika. This will be my first step into actually combining the visual work and soundwork I have done separately for so many years.
My first contribution was the final minute of Corpse #9 giving peace to the exquisite corpse until next time: http://exquisitecorpsevideoproject.ning.com/video/corpse9-1
Since this I've been involved in several other video-projects as well as my continuing work for the Exquisite Corpse.
HEP [Human Emotion Project] and VideoChannel.
A few words about my Soundwork:
Sound design and compositions for Theater [and movie's]
Record engineering and production of albums [CD+LP]
Series of 'Unpublished Compositions' [ElectroAcoustic]
Drummer in the secret 'Saknussem Orchestra'
Well it's much more than an interest: it's last art form I would accept living without!

Bedste hilsner Jonna
