If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Digital, Printmaking
I am...
a fine digital artist and printmaker. My work has been exhibited and collected internationally. I teach workshops on the topic of “alternative digital printmaking” and look to bring the quality of the “hand” back into the digital process. I enjoy collaborations, and have spent the past several years collaborating with artists from around the world. I'm teaching upcoming workshops at the San Francisco Center for the Book in September. Details on my Art website at www.lynbishop.com.
About my artwork
The journey is the integral inspiration that propels my art. Traveling throughout the world, I look for the simple, unsophisticated and organic details that define the beauty of that culture. I am always intrigued by the differing human elements and visual stimulation that I encounter.

Ongoing and Past social art projects include:
Global Fusion: http://www.onelove.com/globalfusion
A Digital Artist: On the Road in China: http://www.zama.com/ontheroad
A Veil in Time Nepal: http://www.zama.com/aveilintime
Artists I like
Almost all, but especially Rauchenberg.
new technologies, the arts, cool design, live music

Thanks for the welcome! I'm looking forward to meeting new creative people as well as contributing to the discussions. I'll get some images up for you to enjoy, but in the meantime, you can see them at http://www.lynbishop.com.

In the meantime, I'm working on proposals this morning and I can't wait to get back into some lenticular printmaking this afternoon.

Have a great day, and stay creative!
