About my artwork
I'm taking pictures from a fascination with people. I'm looking for specific characteristics, peculiarities that makes every human to an individual. Acquaintances, fewer acquaintances, family, random passers-by everyone I'm seeking for the eccentric, extraordinary. Therein lies the beauty of a man.
My photos are character studies. At the same time you realise you will never be able to penetrate the souls of these people. The images may have been made with love, but they also exhibit a defensive strangeness. Every person is an enigma
