About my artwork
'My art can be read as an interrogation of western culture's beliefs and values, and as an exploration of the tension between faith and doubt, physical desire and spiritual longing. My work can be seen as an articulation of the uncertainty and irreconcilable antagonisms inherent in our existence.'
Artists I like
Anselm Kiefer, Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, Mark Rothko, Richard Hamilton, Kitaj, Francis Bacon, Peter Blake, Christian Boltanski, Sigmar Polke, Luc Tuymans, Eva Hesse, Antoni Tapies, and many, many more.
I really like your paintings. You are a skilled draughtsman. I studied at Northampton between 1984 and 87. I studied life drawing with Mike Little and portraiture with his wife Melissa Tring, Did either of them teach you?
