dreamer and sometimes articulate image and concept definer.planmaker yet .neither a commercial artist nor an artist in the monetary sense...a contractor in life but would be fine with shifting these forms into that monetary good...not in the flow of this big art noosphere yet wired in historically.. classical themes and allegory shine thru certain aspects.
indeed for a while I've dream of being ready...so when
.I'm ready to break out.I will let yuou know.,now I am ready to break out and i'm telling you ..this has taken me a while to realize what that entails.. true successes are not always in the ways we are taught by this big ole human highway....surprise!
About my artwork
the last series on Medicine Mound is a monograph that crosses the borders between the currents of history...philosophy, science alchemy and theurgy..
its taken me a while to realize an orphic current that ran thru this work...and to its source or sources..
the pendulum swings there's a lesser approach
that is somehow more successful at times..
this work without a subject
sometimes only the window
that has no frame...is significant
but its always much more than that...
Artists I like
I've studied with Larry Calcagno in NYC and Earl Stoh in Taos, NM...I actually have spent much time there and have learned to practice a sort of longful wistful remote view of places i travel that keep my complicated universe in check...Rodanthe , norythern Wisconsin..the heartland of the US and the deep south...fan of Edwin Dickinson, de Kooning,American greats such as Dasburg Marin...cubists orphists and Symbolist Romantics...the school of athens by titian, or a railyard of trains full of gnashing artists
like ants in color all luring each other in...but a few
hold the light I seek ...
psychologically charged images
mostly ancient sources
weave their way thru things..
.navajo sandpainting has added
its dimension to certain abstractions
robert hirsch jim harter are a few contemporary
photographic art influences and personal friends
Bill and Hans Haveron of Texas and Hollywood..
beautiful art family
with...earl in taos larry fleischman ted pillsbury
art and word
land and see
antiquities philosophy restoration of land and house..
.riding a kite clicking that shutter closed at the right time
in the right place....
birdwatching and travel, studying and creating moving along to the next nexus with everyone alongside...geosphere,
biosphere, stratosphere noosphere...hold almost all my interests

Thanks, John. I love Turner's work as well..ALSO Anselm Kiefer, even though they are so different. If you like Kiefer, I think you would enjoy my friend's work. His name is Lewis Smith... terrific photos by the way.
