It is an honor to speak of the evolution of art in the Dominican Republic, it should be noted regarding the development of modern Dominican Paint it begins in the early twentieth century by adopting new styles which aim to express the identity, address the racial status, geographical and historical. In 1939, with the arrival of Spanish teachers and artists to the Dominican Republic is founded the National School of Fine Arts, later during the Trujillo dictatorship (which lasted from 1930-1960), is the stage where new artists emerge, Between 50 and 60 emerging artists who helped develop the Dominican art. During the sixties, the transition from dictatorship to democracy produces work where everything is questioned, establishing the boundary between the modern and contemporary art production in the Dominican Republic.

In the eighties and nineties, the development of information and international media have led to new generations to move into a proposal where you insular Caribbean, are the hallmark of Dominican artists, and this is becoming of the history of fine arts and painting that we find now one of the most representative artists of fine arts from the Dominican Republic, I mean the leading artist Plastic Dominican Liranzo Janny Garcia, who very early inroads into art pictorial.

Janny Garcia Liranzo was born in the Dominican Republic made her basic studies at school Clara Emilia Canot, the town of Monte Llano, Puerto Plata. After completion of her basic school, she moved to the capital city of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, where she entered the Academy of Civil Aviation and Commercial Alberto Santos Dumont, where she studied and graduated as a hostess. After several years of work this time entered the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo where she makes a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Clinical Laboratory later. After years of work and having its own pharmacy finally decided to study nursing and graduated in the Technical Institute of Santo Domingo estez. After working hard in the field of medicine is that she decide to work on the interior work that delighted her, and where found to have some ability to paint, starting to paint a self-taught, early studies of ell hands and under guidance of a master painter Cuban Professor Rene Vicente Leon, who at present is still her friend and adviser of art from another city, who trains at the natural drawing and instructed in the use of light and shade, as well as knowledge of color management. Her work as well described, is rather figurative without detracting from what the academy, emphasizing light and shadow. However this is not a style is rather a way to easel painting with a hint of the Renaissance. A date has participated in group exhibitions at home and in some private, has many works sold well both in her country, as in some countries of the world including: Georgia, Austria, Manhattan, Boston, New Jersey and Spain as well as in private collections in her country, this famous artist is considered by critics as a master impressionist style that tends to be the correct strokes and strokes ease to others of her joyful and harmonious color, approaching a realism that simultaneously seeks its perfection until a very original hyperrealism. will undoubtedly succeed in finding.
