If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Conceptual, Digital, Drawing, Event, Film, Installation, Painting, Performance, Photography, Video
I am...
I just turn everything that I wonder, I'm interested in, whose theme touches me in a way within my daily life, into an art work. I am not an selectivist artist. On the contrary, I believe everybody has a potential of creativity that would surface if they are provoked, if they can provoke themselves, or they accumulate self-belief. If people establish dialogue with my art, or take steps to get to know themselves, said potential might surface; I witness this process all times.
About my artwork
I am an open flux artist. The following attributes that are the target of my creations are the things, I believe, all the contemporary artists who can't refrain from creating with concern and responsibility should have: To witness “the essence of time” (zeitgeist) once again, that is to be more adverse and radical on this earth that is going down the drains; to heed the sharing and wide circulation of their creations instead of their ownership problems. To be independent. Along with being an artist who shows the way, opens the minds and redefines new problems, being an artist who also can be open to all kinds of interaction and communication, and being a playmaker when necessary. To try to create and furthermore try to protect the existence of courage, originality and composition without falling into the swamp of elitism and populism.
Artists I like
Celan, Duchamp, Rimbaud, Fuentes, Vermeer, Durruti, Beuys, Keaton, Antonioni, Dylan, Wenders, Reed, Cash, Call, Subcomandante Marcos, Patti Smith, Dror Feiler

"Thistles of Sazak" is online...

Sazak is a mountain village located in Karaburun, Izmir on the Aegean coast of Turkey and is just one of many Greek villages forcibly evacuated in 1922.

The Greek residents of this and surrounding villages, who once grew rosica grapes in their vineyards and produced delicious wines and molasses, were considered together with the Greek army that invaded Izmir.… Continue

Hi Hak An..Thank you so much for share your sensible art performance in Sazah Village. Sazak know is not so desolate, solitary and unprotected, cause you, with the same love that someday in the past strong humans hands put stone over stone to make security houses, know with the same kind of hands, music in the air and dance you and your friends takes care of that beautifull place...it is a refletion of your shinning soul.

With love
