If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
a recent graduate trying to stay afloat in the scheme of things by keeping people updated on the work that I make and looking at what other people make.
About my artwork
Above everything else I like to make drawings. I use photography to capture images that flash before our eyes too quickly to process the genius in their aesthetic. My aim is to create images that are both beautiful and slightly off kilter. Essentially the drawings are long meticulous studies of split second moments that are missed by the naked eye which hopefully enable the viewer to perceive the face differently.
Artists I like
MANY! But particularly influential to my practice are Robert Longo, Bettina Von Zwehl, Dryden Goodwin and Mr Chuck Close.
