I am...
an artist that want's to use whatever medium I see fit to express what I need to express. Paint, paper, canvas, walls, plaster, styrofoam, resins, sound, video, words - all of it.
About my artwork
My work follows my life experiences and how I see the world. It is most often based on relationships either with myself or others. Drawn to continual self evolution, I hope that my expressions are able to resonate with the life experiences of others - enough that one might pause and consider their ideas or perceptions just enough to create a small opening of new possibilities. Perhaps with the consideration of new possibilities, we all might evolve.
Artists I like
Bill Viola, Vito Acconci, Pipilotti Rist, Sophie Calle Monica Bastiaans, Julian Rosefeldt is amazing, Dennis Oppenheim and Robert Smithson, Juame Plensa, Evan Penny, and many many more...
I am deeply interested in psychology, the human spirit and the many corners of our own psyche. I am intrested with the reality of the hear and now, the feeling of life in my body and blood in my veins.

Nice to hear back from You Debbie - please take a stroll online at www. michaeldouglashawk.com - "moving images" (older) and "new" might be your
choice to go to. I can send you any preferred data size and format.
Enjoy what you see!
(really like your "Reflecting" work; not so far from some works
of mine on nature...

Hello Debbie,
I have perceived your words as waves of warmth, pure love and sensitivity - rare, too rare at our time of instant new age disorientation. Would like to contact - need your mail?
Be as well as possible.

Hi Debbie, sorry for the delay, and thank you! I can pando or ftp to you today. Which one you decided on-4 min or 17 min? Please let me know ASAP what format works better for you - will it be projected? – if yes then I will send you 4:3 file instead of widescreen. I can also mail a DVD it by FedEx Monday -will be in Europe Wednesday morning. –let me know. thank you , best , tim
