If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Drawing, Painting, Photography, Sculpture
a practicing artist whos works with mundane materials in a repetitious way. Transforming these materials using colour and constructional techniques into various abstract forms and imagery taken from 'real life'.
About my artwork
Crammen's work often deals with repetitious processes using mundane materials. From painting to sculpture, he is diverse and adaptable creating unique visuals from interesting materials. His work features bold and bright colours to juxtapose the materials he works with. He is inspired by his surroundings and imagery taken from subjects such as space, nature, science and the human form. He recreates, exadurates and manipulates these visuals and materials into abstract forms and compositions. Textures and geometric shapes combined with mass and bulk quatities of items built up to contruct one 'thing' is another theme that runs throughout his work.
Crammen has already exhibited his work around the UK curating and creating his first solo show at the age of 21 in Durham City.
