As a visual artist I mainly specialise in sculpture and painting themed around the human figure. I am a very hands on artist/maker and I often work with traditional materials and methods but also unconventional, innovative and even ‘everyday’ materials and resources if they inspire me. I also like to keep an ear to the ground for new technology and materials.
Building on my previous work I am currently exploring and researching the qualities and values of a new medium and how I would be able to manipulate and incorporate it into my sculpture and paintings, expanding my personal boundaries to produce a new body of work for exhibition.
About my artwork
I work in most painting media including Oil, Acrylic, Watercolour, Pastels …Also charcoal life drawings.
I also create sculptures from bronze, plaster, copper, pewter and Concrete which are mainly figurative, Also body plaster castings.
Another ASPECT OF MY WORK is creating digital art.
Artists I like
Rodin, Tamara de Lempicka, Eric Gill, Kandinsky, Warhol, Banksy, Grayson Perry and many many more..

Nope, I haven't got a new studio (yet) the photos are now a bit old - I should change them, but I'm hoping to hear if my application for a studio at Primary is successful. We were gazumped out of the old studios after twenty years or more - a "comunity interest company" didn't like our company but wanted our space. It's normal for artists to get squeezed out, so I guess twenty years was good going!
