If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Digital, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking
Currently I am a first year student studying BA(Hons) Fine Art at De Montfort University.
About my artwork
The main areas that I explore are painting and drawing. The majority of the work incorporates a drawing element as this is something that I am very fond of. Portraying everyday structures found within an environment and turning them into something which they are not is something that interests me. Creating patterns out of things we see and ignore everyday is usually the subject of the body of work.
Artists I like
Lots! To name a few: Howard Hodgkin, Richard Wright, Louise Hopkins, Chuck Close, Michael Craig-Martin, Patrick Caulfield, Susan Hiller, Sol LeWitt, John Virtue etc.
