About my artwork: I work mainly with nostalgia, which I define as the unfinished feeling oscillating between happiness and sadness. The mixture of memories, desires, and also the forgotten.

Im concerned with the emptyness and blank spaces... wich represent for me the state of melancholy and yearning, when you reach a relaxed condition of calm and equilibrium.

Remembering the good times make us happy, but at the same time deeply sad by the knowledge that it will not return.
That kind of feeling is also reach when there is something we have forgot, and it leaves a vacuum inside. And when we really want something, when we want it that much we can only think on it and it make us so happy to wonder, and so ill for dont having it. With bad memories is kind of different, we feel sunken by sadness ...and suddenly we have no more tears to cry, we have no more sadness to feel so we feel like happy, but we know we are not.

We are never empty, we are never full.
But that equilibrium is so dificult to undestand we are always trying to feel in one way or another.
