If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
I was born in Granada, Spain in 1973. I finished the studies of architecture at the Universidad de Sevilla in 1998. In parallel with this training I have always had a passion for drawings: pen and ink, watercolours and washes fall in the category of the techniques I feels more comfortable with.
In 2000 I move to London where I firstly worked for Rick Mather Architects. I currently work for MSMR architects. In 2006 longing for the proximity with the sea I moved to Brighton. These changes of scenery have provided me with a rich gallery of experiences from where to draw inspiration.
About my artwork
The subjects for my work varies from architectural motives, city views, landscapes, motion and still lives. A distinctive and continuous technique gives a coherent cohesion between my pieces.
My work is currently shown in Lymington, Brighton and Seville. I have also produced numerous private commissions for clients in London and overseas.
Artists I like
Jean Cocteau, Picasso, Gauguin, Stewart Mechem, Christine Pang, Ivar Lira
