If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?

I am...
My name is Adam Reeder. I am the Co Founder of two successful Internet companies. I have also been a creative professional for ten years. Having built up and sold two online companies, I know the need for powerful marketing, and focused Social media marketing. I create, and allow my art to become something "out of my control". The internet, and how people share, spread, and use images and videos of my work, has become the art. In Marketing it is called "Viral Marketing".
Earning an MFA in Sculpture taught me how to speak to people with my work, and how to get them to buy what I am selling. I also learned that getting Press as an artist is nearly impossible.
There is nothing harder than branding an artist. I beat those odds. Creating a globally recognized brand
About my artwork
Adam Reeder (b.1976) was born and raised in the Los Angeles Area and Camarillo, California. After studying medicine briefly, (where he gained knowledge of osteology and myology for his future art), he eventually graduated with a BFA in drawing and painting. He completed his MFA in sculpture.

Having progressed from traditionalist conceptual thinking about contemporary art making, Reeder challenges us to confront the new paradigm and its expression of modernity. In his iconic sculpture “Turmoil”, we sense the unconscious yearning of a new generation breaking loose, not to move conceptually back or forwards Sisyphean, but to scale the “nunc stans”. Barlow is proud to be working with Reeder in developing the new expression of sculpture.

Art About The Arab Revolutions

The sculpture called "The Evolution Of A Revolution" is about the Arab Revolutions and it stirs in my heart every day as I listen to the news about the revolutions worldwide.  The names of the 6 major countries revolting are all written in hieroglyphics on this relief sculpture.  It makes me proud of those fighting.  It also stirs within me a desire to fight harder to retain the rights…

The Art of the Deal

The Academy of Art College may be questionable as a school, but it's a hell of a business

By Matt Smith Wednesday, Apr 4 2001

...The Academy of Art College has managed to insinuate itself into the consciousness of San Franciscans as a legitimate art school through advertising…

A new Facebook group about figurative art of all types.

I am inviting everyone to a Facebook group about figurative art.

This group values all figurative art: illustration, painting, drawing, fine art, character design, sculpting, toy making et cetera all in the same light, based on technical and creative prowess.
