Having joined this group with reservations and despite the fact that I like several of the works displayed above, now I see how the work to vote for is selected, I think I'll leave. This is coterie digital salon culture and I can't stop yawning.... goodbye.

I'm having the same problem voting as Mads Ljungdahl talks about, but 'Spotlight' gets my vote for its impressionistic feel. Great stop-motion photo.

Tried to vote on the "Add to Spotlight" icon, but a new page with a "code" jumps up - it doesn't look right

My two favorites from the selected works are "Near Freezing Point" by Asdis Spano and "Hiding" by Robin Clare. I'm a painter so I understand the work that goes into these pieces and they both convey emotion I can connect with. I want to step into "Hiding" to see what is under the dumpster or in it as it is compelling to me. "Near Freezing Point" makes you want to make an image in your mind to understand it. #1 I can see someone slouched over sitting or #2 face up to the sun arms stretched back like a swan dive towards the sun for warmpth. #1 Death or #2 A strong desire, last effort for heat from the sun. Some of the others selected, I don't agree are good at all as I don't connect with them as being art. They may be interesting to look at but art....not so much.
