Creative Global Network for the Visual Arts

The Renaissance Arts Prize focuses on young talented artists, giving them the opportunity to express their potential and present their work to a jury of professionals and a highly interested public of journalists, art dealers and institutions representatives.

The 2009 edition takes part in the celebrations for the centenary of Futurism and invites participants to undertake a creative and transnational dialogue with an artistic movement that has crossed the borders of Italy and inspired many generation of artists, including the Cubists and the Dadaists.

The competition is open to applicants of all nationalities based in the UK or in Italy, under the age of 35.
The deadline for the applications is July 3, 2009 at 12:00 pm. So hurry up!!

Twelve short-listed candidates will be invited to the awards ceremony held at the Italian Cultural Institute in London on 31st July 2009.
Following a video presentation of the selected works, two prizes will be awarded in each category (photography and video art) and two candidates will be invited to a residency in Tuscany on the occasion of Atelier d’Artista 2009.

Entry in the competition is free of charge.
