Exhibition Opportunity In London

I help run a monthly exhibition called showcase
check out http://www.showcase-london.com/
We had been at cafe 1001 for over a year and we are now at the rich mix on bethnal green road in London its a great space and we have some great artists, but are always looking to expand and get new work in.
the next show is the 27th of oct, its a one night exhibition if your interested in it send me a email, also i wonder some people were interested in doing some live art or drawing for this? We are also looking to have some performances, whether art based or otherwise and live bands, nothing too overbearing light jazzy/jam type stuff, something that doesnt interrupt all the arty peoples chatter, the idea is to keep the people entertained!

send me an email or message if your interested

My website showcases (amongst others) my latest series of work

This is the work that I feel best represents me as an artist of maturity and

professionalism and my current practice,so have a look and see if you feel the same.

I look forward to hearing from you and your opinion of my work.

Hi - I am moving to berlin on the 29th dec (ready for new year party time) and am applying for a residency with culturia. crossed fingers! it sounds like an amazing opportunity that, from the applicant requirements, i seem to fit into.
it would be great if i could find some more information about where to live and how to look for a room, which areas to live in, and some tips on the art scene before i go. i'm heading out there not knowing anyone or very much about the city other than i want to be there and i want to make and be involved in art.
cheers.

At berlinerpool you find profiles of selected contemporary artists with ties to Berlin or Istanbul and independent art spaces. Our internet platform provides curators, galleries, museums and art lovers with information about artists and art spaces. berlinerpool also runs a mobile archive: On appointment you can have a look into the BerlinBox of every artist, a physical collection of portfolios.

Hallo meine Freunde,
I will be exhibiting in Berlin this summer.
I will host a workshop on kinetic art 23-30 June in the farm village of Tangendorf. My resulting work will be a solo exhibit in Friedrichshain (Berlin) 1-10 July at Gallery OS8, oderstasse8. I would love to visit with any of you that have the opportunity.
Watch my website www.christophergulick.com for details on the vernisage.
I reccomend articles in this months issue of Art News and the blog site www.artsjournal.com on the art scene in Berlin. While the economy is down ( as are sales and collectors) the town is still the center of the universe to BE an artist.
I spent 3 weeks there in '06 and can't wait to return. We may move there soon as well. Even if the "big city" gets to you, there are plernty of farm villages to reside in and then visit Berlin / Hamburg etc. for business and pleasure. hmmmmmmm
