Photos by Larry Schorr

This event features the work of photographer Larry Schorr, who captured some of the most influential rock and punk artists during staggering live performances in the 70’s San Francisco Bay area music scene. On 35mm film, Schorr caught rock history in the front-row at the final Sex Pistols show, and perhaps the first ever Dead Kennedys show. With his camera lens, he documented some of the early and even first U.S. tours from The Ramones, Elvis Costello, Blondie, The Damned, The Police, Peter Gabriel and Patti Smith, along with already legendary artists such as Pink Floyd, Genesis, Talking Heads and Thin Lizzy. Strange Beauty Show is honored and excited to be able to showcase Larry’s incredible work!
