What exactly means the fact that nowadays there are more than a hundred art Biennials taking place worldwide [and increasing]? Which factors may be at the core of this phenomena? "Articism", market moves, political interests?

I am proud, I received an invitation to attend the eighth International Biennale of Contemporary Art in Florence, Italy.
Biennial will be held from 12/3/2011 d012/11/2011, in the historical Fortezza da Basso in Florence.
