Wall Street 1968-2008 is an exhibition based on a 1968 photolithograph by Argentinian artist Antonio Seguí and other printed material that relies heavily on photography found in the archives of Arte Foundation. Designed specifically for Photo Miami ‘08 the project pretends to establish visual and moral relationships between corporate greed, power, sex and the recent massive federal bailout by the US government to save the epicenter of American Capitalism.
Artists participating in Wall Street 1968-2008 will create new work in a variety of media including photographic banners, video installations, net art, painting, photography and photo collage.
List of Artists in the exhibition:
Carlos Dávila Rinaldi, Radamés Figueroa, Raimundo Figueroa, Ozzie Forbes, Carmen Olmo Terrasa, Augusto Ferrer
