Photography has taken centre stage in the world of contemporary art since the beginning of the 1990s. Throughout this period, the Victoria and Albert Museum has been at the forefront of collecting photography. The photographs in 'Something that I'll Never Really See' are drawn from the Museums permanent collections, includes some of the most innovative works created during a pivotal period in photographic history. The selection shows a broad range of styles by both internationally well-know names and emerging talents.
